Who are we?

Greetings Louisburg UMC,

Happy Easter! It was great to see so many smiling faces last weekend! Thank you to the band, staff, and everyone else who made Easter Sunday so special.

Beginning this Sunday, our new sermon series is called "Who Are We?" As we begin the journey of coming out of the pandemic, every church needs to ask this question. Do we start something new? What should we stop doing? What is our role in the community of Louisburg? To help us facilitate discussion about this question, we will be engaging a new discussion guide called, "What is the role of the church in the world today." On Sunday, we will begin this sermon series by looking at the early church and see how they engaged this question. We will also be searching for God's calling as Louisburg United Methodist Church, as we enter this important time after the pandemic. As part of this sermon series, I would like to invite you to one of 2 dialogue discussions that I will be leading. One will be this Thursday night at 7:00 pm, the second will be after church (11:45) next Sunday, April 18. You can sign up by clicking the link below.
